2012 will bring a new tour for Sphynx as they travel, perform, rock, and entertain crowds from the South West through the East Coast, including a very public appearance at this year’s SXSW Music Festival in their home city of Austin, TX this March (details to follow on that one).

If you are in either the Dallas or San Antonio area this weekend you will be able to catch Sphynx live at least once!  The band is playing at 2826 Arnetic tonight, September 9th in Dallas and tomorrow, September 10th, Sphynx will be in there hometown of Austin, TX as a featured performer at Emo’s for day 1 of Wild frontier Fest 2011.

On September 9th The Frail will be performing live with Nico Vega at the 2011 San Diego Music Thing Conference & Festival.  Not going to the conference? Eric Mingus will be a featured performer on August 27th at Jazzfestival Saalfelden in Austria, along side Elliot Sharp, as a part of the Electric Willie Tribute Performance.

Electric Willie, a tribute to the music of Willie Dixon, was released on Yellowbird Records in November, 2010.

Blip Blip Bleep will be appearing tomorrow, March 11, 2011 at the 2011 NACA Mid Atlantic Festival in East Stroudsburg, PA.  Although the band will not be showcasing, the trio is making the trip to connect with their fans in the region, give out some free shwag, CDs, and make some new friends.  They will be appearing at the Talent Plus Entertainment booth starting at 9:30 PM so please join Blip Blip Bleep tonight for a chance to book them for performances at your school.
